Sky Catchers

SkyCatchers.jpg

In the still / between rains, / when the roof of the earth / is soggy blankets / and sunlight is crushed / into soft, creamy slush, / aerosolized and sprayed / on to ordinary things, / there are puddles everywhere / full of surprised snatches of Sky, / a little stunned by the fall / but perfectly intact, / in cracks and hollows / and sometimes, somewheres,  / in buckets people put out / to catch the rain / and sky. / Sky catchers, everywhere.
